There have been varying standards regarding 'a-priori' regulations and restrictions placed on so-called 'rights to privacy', Fourth Amendment protections, and even the First Amendment when it comes to federally run or funded systems. For example, years ago, the US Supreme Court ruled that the federal government could NOT set prior restrictions on residents or future residents of a federal housing complex when it came to the feds' desire to be able to search the residences for drugs without obtaining warrants. The American Library Assocition also won in the Supreme Court when the Bush Administration tried to force libraries receiving federal aid to place 'screening software' on their computers to guard against 'indecent material' that could be viewed by minors.

While the US government and Federal Reserve print counterfeit "legal" money, the feds stop private people from issuing their own medium of exchange based on metal. Who's the bad guy here?

Okay, so a few people have started talking about this Appeals Court Ruling by Judge Sotomayoooor (love the way the news people push the pronounciation of anything they haven't experienced before, making them look more "authentic"). Here's the deal, this teenage in a gub-ment school was angry that a "battle of the bands" she organized got cancelled by hte administration. She called them "d-bags" (obviously a euphimism for Adam Ant's song Duesche Bags, which was a sequel to Duesche Girls...), and then the administration retaliated buy not allowing her to run for school government. So, she sued on first amendment grounds.

This time, the bogus "Carbon Trust", a "Firm" started and funded through government (ie legalized theft), and UK politicians want companies to "publish their carbon footprints". Not only does the science NOT support the fascist thesis that man's activity is causing the earth to warm, the earth has been COOLING since 1998.

These anti-market mandates will cost people more, remove their ability to make their own choices, and cause unintended consequences, like cars that are not as safe as they could be. Bad idea, forcing people to do as you tell them. Why not start a ompeting car company that conforms to your wishes, IN THE PRIVATE MARKET, and not use people's tax money to push other people around and then give the people who were taxed to create the gangland force a bunch of cars they would not have chosen in the first place? Why not just compete in the market, and see what people choose, FREELY?

It's not clear why, but they were apparently pulled over yesterday in Jones County, Mississippi. Passenger Adam Mueller attempted to videotape the traffic stop, and was arrested for doing so. It isn't clear what happened next, but Talley and Eyre were also eventually arrested, Eyre for possession of a beer in a dry county, and Talley for disorderly conduct, disobeying, and resisting arrest.

They're due to be arraigned tomorrow.
