Dems Say They're Preparing FInall Assault on Health "Care"

The final push is coming. The aggressors are ready to do what they love most, mess with other people's lives. Remember, whatever they pass will have in it the ground work for a full government takeover in two to three years. The key for them will be to mandate "universal access" requirements on insurance companies. This will push up costs by at least 200% in two years. It has happened in every state that imposed such regulations (contrary to the Contract Clause of the US Constitution, by the way).

Follow Up: Remember Our Conversation about Gubment Claims of "Cyber Threats" Eight Weeks Ago? Wellllllllll.......

As we predicted, the statists are interested in establishing "emergency" powers to take over the internet and private computer networks in the case of a "cyber terror threat". So far, the only one's we've heard about have not been backed up by any real evidence apart from government claims about the North Koreans. No private sector shut-downs, nothing. Strange, huh?

If we didn't have a government that provoked and funded outside interests in international conflicts, the chance of attacks on private cyber networks would be even smaller! Does anyone think that the biggest threat to cyber security comes not from foreigners, but from the US government?

How about that great prospect of the gubment getting your medical data? Can't wait.

Here's the story:

Statists Hope Kennedy Death Will Unite People Behind "Civil" Discussion of How to Mess With Others - NICE!

Fed Bailout "Pay Czar" to "Claw Back" Exec Compensation?

Okay. So, first the gubment breaches the Constitution with the immoral, inflationary TARP and TALF, then it tells those who received money from TARP that it will control their companies.

Perhaps the most telling, reveling quote in this piece is the Czar saying "Anything is possible under the law."

Aint it the truth...

Obama Slides "Time" Magazine into Pushing a Gubment-Subsidized "Health Corporation" to Compete with Private Plans

Just like we mentioned in our earlier post on this , the "back-up plan" is going to force the private plans to accept people with preexisting conditions.

They are slick. Create a tax-subsidized "Fannie Mae"-like corporation, then hobble the private competition even more. Genius!

Obama Cites Failed/Bankrupt Social Security and Medicare as Examples When Pushing Health Insurance Fascism

What's fascinating about this is that Obama does not acknowledge the difference between disagreement in a free society based on individuals engaging in free market exchange, and disagreement in a sphere that is controlled by the poltical process and/or the majority.

In a free society, one can disagree and have a choice. If he opts not to do business with the person with whom he disagrees about a policy or product, he is free to withhold his money, and seek another person with whom to do business.

In the political sphere, even if one disagrees, he has no choice. If you disagree with President Obama or the majority in Congress, he/they will still do what they want. It's the difference between freedom and force.

Another Reason to Separate School and State: FLA Principle and Athl. Dir Could Be Jails for Prayer

The point is not that the US Constitution prohibits CONGRESS from estblishing a religion, or restricting the free practice thereof. (This, by the way, meant that localities and states were reserved the power to regulate religion, as bad as that sounds.) The point is that, regardless of whether one believes in God, NO INDIVIDUAL should have his money taken from him to support an education system that pits one religous person against another non-religious person who might not want his money taken to pay a school official to take time to pray. Sorry, but an ethical society would never place a non-believer, or a believer, in that position. It is the state, in its generic sense, that creates these problems.
