Bush and Cheney Being Exposed for Claims of Exec Privilege, Approving Torture

Now, who woulda guessed that?

Here is the exec privilege story, which deals more with prosecutors opposed to wiretapping and breaches of FISA than with anything else. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080410/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/interrogation_tact...

And here's the story about Dick Cheney approving "harsh" interrogation techniques not approved by the Geneva Accords.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080410/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/interrogation_tact...

But remember, these breaches of the law and treaties are to "protect you".

Who cares about the Constitution and the oaths Bush and Cheney took?

Government: Enemy of Freedom -- Here are some examples of politicians at work undermining your liberty and prosperity

First, check out the audacity and arrogance of NH Congressman Paul Hodes. Gee, d'ya think the power might be going to his head, or was his head always full of ego?

It's all about parasitism. Hodes would like us all to be hyenas.

http://www.theunionleader.com/article.aspx?headline=N.E.+summit+eyes+fed...

Then there is the simple tale of a man who had the "license" plates of his car stolen. Said "license" plates were then attached to another car, which was driven through a NH State toll booth without the driver paying.

States Sue EPA over Carbon Dioxide and "Global Warming, Gardner", The Mortgage Bailout, and the Great Heather Graham!

Nowadays, the federal government is involved in regulating so many things that it is not supposed to, American's seem to reflexively think it has a role in "protecting" people from purported environmental hazards. Incredible. Here is story number one, on CO2, the state governments, and the EPA: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23919234/wid/18298287

Fed Eyes "Nordic-Style" Nationalization of US Banks, Plus, Tues, 1:20 Gard Chats With Best-selling Author Heather Graham

Get ready for bad and the good.

First, the bad. As Ambrose Evans-Pritchard writes in the Telegraph of London, and as Gard disussed on his program on 3-31, the federal government is planning an even more disastrous regulatory schema for the financial industry. Read this information, and then suggest some books on history and economics, like the kinds we often post in out links here.

Begin "Taps" for Any Capitalism We Have Left -Bush Admin Proposes Sweeping New Powers for Fed to Regulate and Monitor US Economy

As Gard mentioned on his program Friday, March 28, this looked like it was coming. Dark clouds are on the horizon, fellow conspirators.

The Audio for march 27 and 28 will be posted Saturday.

Anyone still think George Bush is a good President?

Anyone still think we should have or trust a central banking system granted a monopoly on the issuance of money and credit?

Then, just read the Constitution for yourself and don't bother asking what government folks "interpret the Constitution".

Then buy a gun, or many.

Protesters Hit DC As Fifth Anniversary of Iraq "War" Arrives -- IRS Targeted

Great to see people standing up for the Constitution, if that's what these politicians who are operating in an unconstitutional fashion keep spouting is the totem which is America's set of fundamental rules.

US Postal Service Grants Police Authorities Access to Personal Letter Info, WITHOUT WARRANTS -- Has Done Since 1998

The Constitution gives the federal government the power to create a US Postal Service, but not to create one that abridges the 4th Amendment, and not one that makes competition illegal.

Check out this story, and wonder if the Founding Fathers might have made a mistake granting the power to create a Post Office.

Then look up the story of Lysander Spooner, of Massachusetts. He started a private postal service in the 1800's, and it operated faster and cheaper than the USPS. What happened? The government shut him down, of course. Bureaucrats HATE competition.

Congress Further Regulating Private Health Industry: This Time for "Mental Health Parity" -- One More Step Towards the Goosestep

Yep. Paul Wellstone did it, with his pals on "both sides of the isle", so you know it's got to be good, right?

Right?

Fed Appeals Court to Hear Case of CT Teen Punished for Criticizing School, on HIS OWN BLOG SITE!

Yep, you got it.

Take a look at his one, and ask yourself, just where do the politicians get the gall to take money from people, force their kids into bad government schools, and then tell the kids that they can't criticize the system?

Wow. http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080305/D8V7BKM00.html

Obama n' NAFTA, TWO FACED? Um, YEAH.

Take a look at how this politician says one thing to union members in Ohio, while saying another to politicians in Canada.

Jeesh!

BTW, free trade is beneficial to all parties, and NAFTA is not exactly "free trade". If it were a true free trade document, it wouldn't be hundreds of pages long, with all sorts of regulations and guidelines and a lawsuit system set up to hamper competition.

As Heard on ATG with GG: FCC Chair Ready to Impose "Net Neutrality" -- Despite the MANY Unconstitutional Facets of Such Actions

... and despite the anti-economic nature of such federal regulation.

Listen to the Audio file for 2-25 to hear more about this bureaucratic mess, and take mental notes on Gardner Goldsmith's statements regarding the Constitutional prohibition against Congress ceding powers to other bodies. Also note, as Gard observes, that the "power" to regulate internet content, pricing, or ANYTHING, is not within the federal government's constitutional purview.
