It's amazing to see how the upside-down idea that people have "rights to" things can be used to blind the populace into believing that government-run medicine will give them better and less expensive care than the free market. On one side you have the coercive force of government, which has regulated and mandated private health insurance companies until their charges have had to rise to handle all the burdens. Government, with mandates on doctors and over-utilization by people who don't pay their own bills, with cost-shifting and capitation.

That was a blast, cats! Bile wins it 55% to 45% after a beautifully played battle between him and the awesome Conspirator Adam Wilcox!

Lard's "War Pimp Renaissance" beats Denver Harbor's "Xenophobia" in a titanic battle that was close all the way through! Congrats BILE, and a tip o' the hat to Adam who picked a really great song to get some exposure! Adam will be back in our Second Chance Round!

The only thing with to disagree is that the author does not mention that the "Contract Clause" of the US Constitution would actually prohibit STATE minimum wage laws, as they should be prohibited, just like the fed laws should be prohibited.

Besides the fact that the Second Amendment prohibits ANY restriction on the right to keep and bear arms, the "full faith and credit" clause of the Constitution would seem to apply in this case as well. Of course, we can't really use the term "pro-life" in any meaningful context, since, despite the fact that these politicians don't want government funds used for abortions, they don't respect your life enough to let you retain the fruits of your labor that support it as you desire to support it. A "property in oneself" is what the enlightment thinkers used to call individual liberty, and these guys don't get it. Only when you can control all of the fruits of your labor can you fully exercise your right to your life. Otherwise, someone ELSE owns part of you, whether you like it or not.

But at least these hypocrites are slowing down Obama's plans.
