Hey, Gov, you cannot EMPATHIZE with someone unless you have experienced what he or she has felt. You can SYMPATHIZE, and IMAGINE what it's like, but you can't EMPATHIZE. Love the way they add all sorts of amendments to these things!

First, you have the feds sticking to the fallacious belief that it is a federal role, and not a state role (as is actually written in the constitution) to control immigration. Then you have "E-Verify", which only applies to federal employers now, but will clearly expand to all US employers, THEN you have the sticky issue of allowing reimportation of drugs from Canada that are made cheaper due to the Canadian government's regulatory mess, sort of like a mafia controlling the cost of pasta in your city. Is it really ethical to buy said pasta?

Okay, so your medical privacy will be gone. The company with which you privately contract will be competing against a tax-subsidized government health plan, the insurance company will have all sorts of regulations and requirements applied to it by the feds, forcing up costs, and if you don't get health insurance, you will be fined. Now, the new taxes they will need to fund the federal plan are being proposed.

They're everywhere. In New England, the talk radio stations that often broadcast "conservative" talk hosts have been playing the spots that tell people that they can get "free" cell phones, paid by the federal government. From whence might this "free" money come?

But WHDH TV of Boston, and Hank Phillipi Ryan (who is now writing romance-crime novels) are telling people that it's a GOOD program, one that should have MORE people using it. In fact, they imply that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is doing something WRONG by not getting more people on phone socialism.
