It would give teh FDA (an unconstitutional agency) sweeping power to regulate small farms and individual growers in their own fields or plots of land. I twold force individual growers and members of Farmers' markets to have to file federal safety paperwork. It would makd it potentially illegal to hold seeds for personal use, it would allow the FDA to send "inspectors" to your home to check on your garden, and woudl allow the FDA to stop sales of your products, without any kind of hearing or trial. Check out these sites for information on the bill and then contact the Seantors from your state to tell them to stuff this bill up their corn-holes.

If you can wade through the nonsense of the first five or six paragraphs of this piece, check out the meat of what the new regulations do to health insurance companies. The law stipulates that 85% of all PRIVATE insurance company profits be dedicated to certain business activities rather than advertising or profit. This is a shocking part of an already disgusting law, an aspect that truly shows the face of this authoritarian move by the feds. Your insurance bills are going to skyrocket.

Here's an idea. What if liberty-minded people all around the US apply for jobs with and begin working for the TSA as screeners. Then, on a chosen day as they begin their jobs, all of them stop, and tell the travelers that they are not going to force people to do the scans, that the passengers have rights that cannot be infringed by the federal government, and they also inform the passengers that if they had been terrorists, they could have easily coordinated with passengers to let them through with weapons or explosives. It only takes some creative thinking (which, evidently the government folks don't have) to figure out ways to get explosives onto planes if people are really dedicated to doing so.
