We mentioned this a long time ago, knowing it couldn't be stopped. The EPA is an unconstitutional agency that acts without congresssional laws being written (even if Congress DID pass such laws, they would be unconstitutional), and the regulations they are enacting are predicated on the belief that the burning of fossile fuels is causing "climate change" -- a belief disputed by thousands of scientists, from climatologists to meterologists to cosmologists to chemists and on and on.

But that's okay, it's only going to make the cost of electricity rise sharply during a time when people are being hard hit by the extended recession.

Remember, any time you read or hear a so-called "expert" tell you that "inflation is rising", that just means that the prices are increasing, and the inflation of the money supply has already happened.

Can you say, TARP, QE1, QE2, and low interest rates since 2002? Yeah, put them together and they spell inflation of the money supply, which leads to....

Yes, a three judge panel ruled 2 to 1 Friday that the INDIVIDUAL MANDATE portion of the federal medical fascism law is unconstitutional. The majority said that this is a dangerous precedent, unseen in US history, and it could lead to other mandates, like the feds telling people they have to eat broccoli (was that a Bush I appointee?;)). They are correct in that, and also correct in stating that such a mandate is not specifically enumerated in the Constitution as a power granted the feds. But they show their inconsistency in not applying it in other cases. For example, if it is not a power granted to Congress to force people to pay for insurance, how is it Constitutional to force them to pay for a so-called (bogus) "Social Security Insurance" program?  And how about "Medicaid"?

Geniuses, aren't they?

Wait for the news about this new crop of foreclosures to hit the pop media. Oh, wait. We almost forgot that they will barely cover such a story because they are politically motivated to make statism look good...

So, here's the first piece of news. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two poisonous creations of the US gubment that buy property-related debt instruments and offer loans to people and businesses to buy homes and start businesses, have also been downgraded by S&P, but, as expected, they are not increasing their own rates for loans. Why?

So get this. The budget prior to these supposed "cuts" was going to rise 8% on average per year for the next TEN years. Forget the fact that each Congress is only supposed to pass spending bills that apply to its term, and forget that the supposed "cuts" were back-loaded until ten years down the line. The budget will still go up 6% a year, COMPOUNDED, and they call that a "DECREASE", a "CUT"?

Meanwhile, taxes will be raised through elimination of certain "loopholes". So the government spends MORE and takes MORE.

Anyone think the politicians have "sacrificed"?

They hinge their decision on the word "reasonable", which is refered to in the Constitution, in the 4th Amendment, in which it is written:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Now, let's see... if this were a private company, they would be sued, and would lose business as well... but this is the gubment, so... A couple firings, perhaps, and the system will continue to forceably take money from people, regardless of their dissatisfaction...
