Goodbye private insurance market (over time, more and more people will recognize the economic advantage of not getting health insurance because the fed penalty for not buying it will be less than the cost of the policies. They will, instead, wait, until they become ill, and then buy policies -- which isn't INSURANCE)...

Lots to consider for the statist. Oh, things like spurring higher prices for college (by artificially increasing demand), watering down curricula, infusing psychiatric monitors in schools, avoiding the teaching of phonics to young children, and much more...

Yeah, here's a guy who talks a lot about civil liberties, about privacy, against undeclared wars, but he is perfectly fine with invadig your health records, forcing you to pay for other peoples' responsibilities for health care, and making war against private insurance companies. If he were truly a man of peace, he would start his own insurance company and compete based on what he thinks an insurance company should do. He wouldn't FORCE others to do as he orders with his "vote".
