Speaking to a website interviewer from Beliefnet.com, the former US Senator and current Presidential candidate claimed, "I think that Jesus would be disappointed in our ignoring the plight of those around us who are suffering and our focus on our own selfish short-term needs," Edwards told the site. "I think he would be appalled, actually."

This is the same man who supports federally funded abortions, for those of you who are interested in checking a supposed Christian's hypocrisy, and for those who aren't Christian, but perhaps believe in the philosophical tenets of the Judeo-Christian traditions that formed this nation, there IS this set of rules called the Ten Commandments. One of them is That Shall Not Steal.

Just like Hillary Clinton credited her name to the trek of Sir Edmund Hillary to the top of Mt. Everest, but had been born BEFORE he made the journey, Barak Obama (or is it Irish, written O'Bama?) has credited a race march that happened AFTER he was born for bringing his parents together... Is Doctor Who playing matchmaker? And in all seriousness, can one trust people who will lie with such impunity? Why not just be honest and attract people to your IDEAS, Barak?

March 5, 2007 — Sunday's march in Selma, Ala., may have been a sacred commemoration of the "Bloody Sunday" civil rights march of 1965, but beneath it all lurked raw politics, with Sens. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., competing fiercely for black voters.

In the latest witch trial-like permutation of the "anthropogenic global warming" cult, a group of Canadians wants the US Government cited for "human rights violations" over the change in temperature that they claim is caused by man.

Since, they say, the US uses the largest proportion of oil and emits the most CO2, we should be held responsible for hunters falling through thin ice.

Of course we should!

HARD-CORE global warming sceptics will descend on Canberra today for the release of a book claiming environmentalism is the new religion.

Former mining executive Arvi Parbo will launch Ray Evans' new publication, Nine Facts About Climate Change, at a function at Parliament House.

The book claims climate change is nothing new and declares Howard Government investments in solar power and in cleaning up coal a "complete waste of taxpayers' money".

A panel of scientists has presented the United Nations a detailed plan for combating climate change. VOA's correspondent at the U.N. Peter Heinlein reports the strategy involves reaching a global agreement on a temperature ceiling.

The Hollywood adoration of Al Gore couldn't stop the facts about his hypocrisy from being exposed. In fact, all one has to do is THINK about his work to realize that he subsumes his environmental objectives for his own personal pleasure.

We have often cited at the Conspiracy the trio of points that government restrictions on immigration politicize what ought to be market processes, retard economic productivity, and are unconstitutional on a federal level.

The debate on the other side of the statist isle has usually been whether the feds should allow lots of immigrants to stay, or ship them back, whether the federal government should build a wall along our southern border, or allow passes to the people who comply to their rules; whether to spy on businesses to see if they are hiring "illegals", or let them do their business.

Between February 22 and 25, 2007, Concord, NH saw upwards of 366 people attend the first annual "Liberty Forum", at the Concord Holiday Inn.

With featured guests each day and night, informative conversations by people knowledgable on politics, gun rights, education, monetary policy, and political philosophy, the Forum attracted people from as far away as Holland and California, and many Conspirators were there as well.

Forget the POWER for the concerts, and the satellite use to get them up there, what about the WOOD of even the acoustic guitars?!! NOOOOOOO! This concert could DESTROY THE WOORRRRLD! Remember, when we say "beautiful", we mean internal beauty, not physical beauty. Use of such a term might be interpreted by some as a dig against Senator Clinton's physical appearance, when it is not. In fact, by even bringing this up, some might think we are implying that Senator Clinton is not physically attractive. Jeesh, this is tricky stuff!

Anyway, Hillary was recently praised in many states for her announcement to Democrats that there needed to be a broad domestic-economic change in the US. The "partnership" between the government and "working Americans" needs to be reestablished.

For those who have followed the double-speak and subtle manipulation of the press that John McCain has exhibited for many years, this comes as no shock. But many think Senator Straight Talk is a paragon of virtue.

Just about a year and a half ago, Sen. John McCain went to court to try to curtail the influence of a group to which A. Jerrold Perenchio gave $9 million, saying it was trying to "evade and violate" new campaign laws with voter ads ahead of the midterm elections.

Has anyone noticed that on the VERY SAME day House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D - CA) testified before a Congressional Committee about "America's need" to use less oil and to stop "man-made global warming", she was embroiled in a battle with the Pentagon about her desire to get a 757 jet to fly her non-stop to and from Oakland? As noted here earlier, this plane would spew 10,000 pounds more CO2 into the air with each trip than if she were to use the kind of plane Denny Hastert used when he was Speaker.

Why these politicians aren't forced to buy their own air tickets, one may never know. But at least this episode with the Pelosi Plane has brought to light her towering hypocrisy on the issue of just WHO has to comply with political schemes to "save the environment".

On Thursday, Feb 8, California Congressman Dana Rohrabacker slammed the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change of the UN for its sloppy and biased work on man-made global warming.

Listen to the excerpt from his exchange with Dr. Susan Soloman of the UN and NOAA, as he tries to get a straight answer about the percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere that is produced by man, and the percentage that is produced naturally. This is at the heart of the debate. The scientists testifying at this sham "hearing" could only refer to general changes in either temperature (and the stats on that are collected in such a way as to make as dramatic as possible the changes in global temp since the mid 19th Century, which was the end of the "Little Ice Age") or CO2, but not, at any time, any data concerning the percentage of MAN-MADE CO2, which is at the heart of the debate about MAN'S EFFECT on the climate. Washington State Rep Brian Baird (D) attempted to overlook this glaring lack of information, turning the testimony about changes in parts per million of CO2 into a parthenogenic snowball (to stick with the climate motif) that, since CO2 has risen, the percentage that MAN is inputting must be increasing. But compared to WHAT? Could there be a general increase in CO2 due to natural phenomena? One would have to have data on the percentage made by man 100 years ago or more, and the percentage made by man today, RELATIVE to the percentage made in nature. Simply citing a general trend in CO2 levels gives one no more idea of what is CAUSING it than if one were to measure ambient room noise in a house at various times, and claim it is due to the ownership of a new dog. What if the measurements were taken during times that included thunderstorms, or parties, or what if the dog were never allowed in the home? This is such sloppy science, is so politically driven it is laughable. Baird doesn't consider these important factors, despite his claim that he once taught "Scientific Method" (oooooh).

As the "Washington Times" and ABC News first reported, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D. CA), has allegedly requested the equivalent of a 757 jet aircraft (we hear ya, Capt. Sensible!) to shuttle her to and from her home in San Francisco. This aircraft would cost $300,000 one way to make the trip, and -- for the environmentally conscious out there -- would expel 10,000 pounds more carbon dioxide than the plane used by former speaker Dennis "the Menace" Hastert.

Pelosi reportedly claimed that, as the first female Speaker, security demands dictated that she needed a plane that didn't have to re-fuel (as Hastert's C-20 would). Such a statement leaves many wondering what she means by that. Is it the distinction that she is the first female Speaker which makes it necessary to operate under a different security protocol? If this is the case, does this not patronize women, talk down to them, and tell them they need special treatment? Or is it a simple matter of fact, that, somehow, as the first female Speaker, Ms. Pelosi is in greater danger, is threatened by people who don't like her in her position of authority?

Those of us who were listening to the Sean Hannity show on Friday, February 2, know that a familiar voice took on Mr. "Great American" for not being such a great American after all.

In the middle of Hannity's program, Gard called to remind him of an errant statement made on a previous show. The subject was the Democrat non-binding resolution regarding the "war" in Iraq. Gard observed that he and Sean agreed about the towering hypocrisy of the Dems for granting the President the power to go into Iraq, and retaining the power of the purse over it, but not actually "putting their money where their mouths are" when it came to disapproval of the "war".

NH Senator Judd Gregg today pushed legislation to "bring the Iraq resolution" to a vote. But while it may seem to many that the Senator was straying from the Bush reservation, he was, in fact, making a tactical move to keep the resolution from coming to the floor for a full vote. Gregg's "cloture" move, to NOT end debate on the resolution, means that the President avoids another meaningless political measure designed to announce, but not actually enact, the Democratic (and in some cases Republican) wish to stop the military operation in Iraq.

For those who watch the weekend political chat fests, it is abundantly clear that Senator Hillary Roddam Clinton is contradicting herself on her Iraq "War" position.

Recently, the woman who inspired the Sonics to write one of their best songs said that if she had been President in 2002, "we would not have gone to war with Iraq."

Well, considering that we HAVEN'T gone to War with Iraq, as stipulated under Article One of the US Constitution (the document that gives her and George Bush their seats and salaries) one might wonder what dimension she calls home. But let us assume for a moment that this undeclared military operation is acceptable according to the rule book for our national government. What, then, are we to make of her comments leading up the the "war"?

As many Conspirators know, Iran has recently begun production of 3,000 new nuclear centrifuges (for its power needs, OF COURSE!).

This is only the beginning. Many intelligence experts have been aware for some time that Mahmoud Ahmadenijad has been intent on gaining nuclear weapons, and that he has not only threatened the destruction of Isreal, but all western nations tied to what he calls the "Zionist state".

The UN is, and always will be, ineffectual. Mohammed ElBaradei, head of the IAEA wants what he calls a "timeout" (!!), whereby the sanctions against Iran will be lifted if Iran pauses on its nuke work.
