US Spies Want Renweal of Unconstitutional FISA Law - To Spy On Americans
The semantic legedermain these people use is almost comical. See, FISA, the "Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act" created the power for the feds to spy on "foreigners", which means, in their Byzantine logical construction, that if you are an American citizen talking to a foreigner, you, too, can be wiretapped.
One would think that if an American citizen were involved, a WARRANT would be needed, ya know? But, nope. Not in the new USA. The Bushies pushed this, and got it, and now Obama's team wants to continue it.

As we have mentioned many times, GM did not really turn a profit last year. The only reason it was in the black was because it didn't have to pay taxes, the way FORD does. The arrangement was part of the gubment bailout of GM. If they had paid taxees (not that we support taxes, but this is a company that got BILLIONS of other peoples' dollars), they would have been 14 billion in the red!
Now comes this story, refuting the recent sales figures reported by GM.
