So much to say here, but to let you know, just a few days ago, a special committee got together to do what the legislture was unwilling to do: Ban firearms from the state capital.

What's that Second Amendment thing? THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED? I guess that depends on whether you're a politician and you consider public buildings provided through the forced expropriation of tax dollars as some other realm of reality that doesn't fall into the purvue of that Amendment. Strange that, huh?

If you are interested, gether at 2:30 pm at the Statehouse in Concord. Bring a weapon for self defense.

Statists have been engaging in all sorts of outrageous antics to silence opposition, from media blatantly refusing to cover issues and movements involved with freedom to the bounty on a US Chamber of Commerce official. Perhaps one source of the "intellectual" (if one can call it that) foundation of the statists' determination to silence any and all dissent may be found in an essay titled  "Repressive Tolerance" by Herbert Marcuse, the "Father of the New Left". The essay is sick, twisted and actually painful to read. This essay may also be the foundation of political correctness.

Looking at it with a wider lens... First, the feds break the Constitution to take over the control of the air routes, beginning in the 1920's-1930's. FDR sends out millions of Dollars to local politicians to build new airports where the market would not have placed them. Then the Feds impose insane, anti-constitutional, pro-union rules on the airlines, THEN, the feds take over the security at the airports. Each one of these causes delays, inefficiencies, and dictates that have no connection to the desires of consumers. So, you have airlines being delayed by security, you have air routes that get clogged due to government control of them, and you have excessive costs due to union involvement.

Wendy McElroy reports on this, from EFF. That "War on Immigration" iscertainly an interesting case study in freedom, huh?

The pieces are being set on the chess board. The destruction of the private health insurance industry will be achieved within a few years. Meanwhile, so-called "moderate" Republicans say that they, too, believe there needs to be "reform" to force private insurance companies to accept people with preexisting conditions. These are precisely the suckers and economic neophytes who will destroy the private system.

So we once more mention that the so-called "science" pushed by the backers of anthropogenic global warming (now termed "Climate Change", since the globe has been COOLING since 1998) is faulty. We have to mention that increases in CO2 FOLLOW increases in global temp, they don't PRECEDE higher temps, and we have to mention that this kind of government-sanctioned theft harms living standards and lives in real terms. Yep. The vast majority of people out there will not understand that the increases in stock prices do not necessarily reflect increases in VALUE. Instead, as we know, they reflect a decrease in the buying power of the Dollar caused by a massive liquidity push from the central bank and US Congress.

As we have mentioned, there will be a period of perhaps a year, give or take a few months, when things look to be on the rebound. We think that there will be some hires by business, but if the health fascism bill passes, then all bets are off. Things will collapse much more rapidly, and there will be a true economic storm the likes of which this nation has never seen.

Ever.
