Nick Clegg Tells geolibertarians To Bugger Off
Well he hasn't specifically told geolibertarians to get lost from the Lib Dems but has said radicals & lefties to fuck off & that that includes geolibertarians.
It really stinks of "Thanks for getting us elected but now will you fuck off because your not making us look conservative enough"
Well i left a few months back but I've still have geolibertarian friends involved including an elected councillor who's a geolibertarian & right now is extremely pissed
Libertarianism in a world of (nation) states
I especially hate the nation state. States are problematic enough, once you harness nationalism to them: cripes. But this leads us to some major problems and challenges around achieving a libertarian world. Of all the topics I’ve brought up so far, this, I imagine, is the one most people will have well defined views upon and may provide readings for. As always, I welcome such input because, frankly, I haven’t found treatments that I find compelling.
Libertarian Child Protection?
A big thanks to everyone who contributed to the "Libertarian Enforcement Theory?" thread. I've got some other things I've been wondering about that I thought I'd submit for your comment.
I wanted to open a discussion about how (or if) children are to be protected from negligent, abusive or sadistic parents in a libertarian world. Sadly, such things do exist. Now, I’m sorry that I always need to provide this caveat, but experience has shown it is required. Please don’t insult me with kindergarten like observations on all the harms by the state’s child protection agencies. (D’uh. Oh, wow, how smart of you.) Shocking though it may be to some, yes, I know.
Screwing the Poor its All government Seems Good For
A few weeks back Nick Clegg the deputy Prime Minister & the leader of a party I was once a member of swas quoted as saying…
“It’s going to be difficult for someone who is going to receive less housing benefit because of the changes we are introducing to understand why, at the same time, we should spend huge, huge amounts of money in a hurry on replacing Trident in full”.
I in fact wrote a response to this http://www.the-bastard.com/index.php?section=45&page=3172
Harry Reid Arrives at "Green Conference" w/ Fleet of SUVs
I saw that Gard posted this story http://apps.detnews.com/apps/blogs/watercooler/index.php?blogid=667
It ain’t the first time that bigwigs have pulled this kind of hypercritical bullshit
Here’s a few observations I made in relation to the Copenhagen conference last December

Well so much for "freedom of speech"...
A young UK man sent an email to Obama, criticizing him over his health care plan, and was banned for life from entering the USA. It kind of makes you wonder what they would have done if said email was sent by an American.

Bible or Quaran, Which Burns Best?
This guy has stirred quite a fracas in the media here off the back of the US story in the weekends media.
Thoughts? Discuss?

Get use to Greenies pointing guns at your head

James J Lee obviously was a nutcase but so are many greenie authoritarians; the only difference being that where as James j Lee egregiously committed aggression in person, greenie authoritarians would get the government to commit egregious aggression when people do not comply with their eco authoritarian dogma.
Do I Have A Right To Rule Others
I started a thread over in Thom Hartmann's forum, called Do I Have A Right To Rule Others.
Here's the question with which I started the thread:
Let's take a hypothetical scenario: Joe runs a stand where he sells hamburgers and fries those of his neighbors who have a taste for such things. I am not a customer of Joe's, but I am concerned for the health of his customers, I think that Joe should post a sign that shows the nutritional information of his burgers. Let's say I suggest this to Joe, but he's not particularly interested. What sort of authority do I have to force Joe to do what I want? Would it be moral for me to try to do so?
Croc Dundee in Tax rangle with Oz Tax office

In an exclusive interview, Australian entertainment legend Paul Hogan breaks his silence over his battle with the tax man and talks about his heartache at being prevented from leaving the country and whether he fears being jailed.
Who would have thought that Gubment would be nasty to our most productive members of society. Certainly NOT I. NOTTTTT!!!!!
He's gonna fight it too!
The Pope is coming & we are paying for it!
http://www.zigsterreport.com/?p=196
What bemuses me about the Pope’s visit to Britain is that why is the British taxpayer paying for his visit. If atheists in Spain wanted Richard Dawkins to visit they’d pay for his trip not the Spanish government via the Spanish taxpayer. i doubt any government is going to lay on a state visit for Richard Dawkins so why should any government do the same when it comes to the pope.
Obama’s security it costs more to the US taxpayer then you’d initially think
http://www.zigsterreport.com/?p=90
On 9/11 it was not Bush & members of his administration who were harmed; likewise with 7/7 it was not Blair & members of his cabinet who were killed. On both those occasions it was Mr & Mrs Average who were harmed, it was Mr & Mrs Average whose taxes pay for the security for the political leaders of their respective countries & because those leaders were cushioned by having a heavy security deployment around then, it enabled them to go to war which created blowback upon Mr & Mrs Average.
Why government financing broadband expansion is a very baaad idea
It might sound very positive for government to subsidise to subsidise the expansion of broadband to rural areas, but in regards to individual liberty it’s a very bad idea to have government involved with the infrastructure of the internet.
Firstly having government subsidise the roll out of broadband infrastructure is a corporatist ploy; basically the government subsidises the roll out of broadband & then the internet service providers profit for the government paying for broadband infrastructure. Put another way the tax payer would cough up for what the internet service providers would profit from.
TO THOSE WHO MAY USE PIRATE BAY…DON'T!!!
I know there are folk who like me who use µTorrent & therefore most probably visit Pirate Bay. Due to getting torrents from Pirate Bay I’ve been hit by two really nasty viruses in a week requiring me to system restore in safe mode.
