James J Lee obviously was a nutcase but so are many greenie authoritarians; the only difference being that where as James j Lee egregiously committed aggression in person, greenie authoritarians would get the government to commit egregious aggression when people do not comply with their eco authoritarian dogma.

If you ever get to talk to JeffBliss from Thomland, then you would see a perfect example of a "greenie authoritarian". Especially his "no child policy".

I actually had a discussion with him a few months ago where he defended the government's gallon per flush limit on toilet bowls.  According to him, the government has the duty to protect us from people using too much of a scarce resource.  Well, that pretty much opens the door to any authoritarian act one could imagine.  He's the only guy from Thomland for whom I have a visceral hatred.  He is Orwell's "boot stomping on a face forever."

I thought the "no child policy" was even scarier as China's one child policy is his example.

And yes I did catch most of that discussion on low-flow toilets. And you are right if he thinks that people need to be controlled for every action then in the social desire to control water consumption, it can never end. People {consumers} will always find just other ways to "waste resources" in his mind and thus always a need to regulate their behavior.
