CNS news does a great job on a number of fronts. In this article, the author actually takes a step that most of the pop media reporters wouldn't bother to do: she compares the total number of people on Federal Food Stamps to the govt-offered numbers on employment. The result is striking.

The deToqueville tipping point - at which the majority lives off the productive capacity of the minority - has ben reached. In fact, if one looks at the vast number of government employees and corporations getting govt contracts (on all levels of government), that tipping point was reached many years ago in the US.

Break away. Work any job you can. Hide your income. Do anything you can to keep the fruits of your labor.

It's still amazing that many Americans see Snowden as an enemy, rather than a courageous hero who revealed government wrongdoing...

We have long warned so-called "conservatives" that their zeal to close the borders would lead to a national ID which would be required to work.

The Senate bill (passed a few days ago) has this in it. The bill will likely not pass the House, but as long as the hardcore anti-immigration gangs in the GOP, and the union Democrats keep pushing for federal controls over immigration, this will be in the offing. It looks like such a system will be unavoidable in the next few years unless people who believe in freedom, free economics and the benefits of immigrants, and in the rules of the constitution (which doesn't allow the feds to be involved in immigration, only naturalization) don't win more to our side.

There's nothing like that nutty 14th Amendment! When it comes to misinterpreting the language of the Constitution, no clause is more misconstrued than the 14th Aamendment's provision that all states shall supposedly provide equal "protection under the law."

This story is abotu a day old, but worth reading. The feds wanted to do this on the NBA Finals, but there was such a backlash in the interwebs they stopped. This time, they're getting in earlier, and trying to be more serruptitious.

A few days ago, when the FBI "revealed" that it was using drones to spy on US citizens, we said that Director Mueller was likely admitting to it not because he had a sudden urge to be forthright, but because the information was going to come out, and he and his cronies wanted to get out in front of it and give the public the impression that they were being "good guys letting us know."

We were right. It has been revealed today that the drone use was uncovered by the Electronic Fronier Foundation, after they filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit. Good for them. Anyone think the pop media will report about the perfidy of the FBI?

We don't think so, either.

Since we've already seen this kind of thing done by domestic police to a cattle rancher in the midwest, one has to figure the feds are doing it. Muller's language is beautifully vague, as well. "Incidents"... and "very seldom". Nice that the agency is only now working to come up with set rules for the drone program. And does anyone actually think that those grandstanding bozos Grassley and Feinstein don't already KNOW the FBI is doing it, but are asking for testimony on it because they suspect that the information will soon be leaked to the public? Better to get out in front and look like ya care.
