Our podcast will keep you up to date...
New to the forum, that is. I've been listening to the podcast since long before it was only a podcast.
A few of you may know me from the Free Talk Live BBS (I'm also Dan from Pennsylvania when I call in to FTL).
I'm trying to cut down my costs for the Liberty Forum since I have to drive about 10 hours to get there. Would anyone be interested in splitting a hotel room with me at the Crown Plaza? Or if anyone who lives in Nashua wants to rent out a couch to me, I'd be up for that too. I checked the price of the hotel a while back and i think it was around $250 for all 3 nights.
Also I'd be willing to let up to 3 people ride with me if they are on the way up I-79 in PA or I-90 in NY. Gas donations accepted but not necessary.

This is an economics podcast done by a professor in Economics at George Mason University. In the most recent episode he talks about opensource software. I just downloaded it and haven't listened yet but this one does sound like something many of you would enjoy listening to.

"Blog From Bolivia" is written by a leftie, big-government American expat who lives in a town called Cochabamba. Although I almost never agree with his take on things, he does provide the news. (My wife is from Bolivia, hence the interest). A few months ago he asked the readers to describe Bolivia in exactly six words. It was actually a lot of fun to see what the readers came up with.
In another thread, it was being Gardner stated that anti-trust is infuriating,
Now I agree that anti-trust litigation is generally a bad thing. A while back, though, I heard of a group in New Hampshire that wants to challenge the monopoly of the New Hampshire Bar Association via anti-trust litigation. I think that this a very interesting use of anti-trust statutes.
How else can one end the cartelization of professional legal services, given the current paradigm?
I'd just like to congratulate Obama on a fantastic run as our president elect. I'm sure it wasn't easy, but you pulled through!
Also, I hear a few lucky individuals have discovered the golden tickets and will be offered an all-expenses paid trip to Obama's chocolate city inauguration. If only I could bathe in the awesome chocolate rain.
YOU LOSE!!!! GOOD DAY SIR
( This is a cue to spark Gardner's imagination XD )
Is it just me, or do all of his business models depend on sticking the taxpayer with the cost of the project while funneling the profits to T. Boone Pickens?

I found the podcast through a review of an epidsode on some random blog I visited once. I've been listenting ever since (3+ months) and it's really great. I'd like to promote the podcast on my site more (riseuprochester.org), but I was wondering what the best way to do it would be. Perhaps someone could make a graphic that's a link to the iTunes podcast that could sit on my home page. I'd just do it myself, but I figured by posting the idea here others might do the same.

What's next? Every time a coach challenges a call on the field, a Congressional committee will be convened to review it? This bill was introduced by a Republican - the small government party, right?
