Beth A Hoffman, RIP -- A Great Defender of Liberty Passes Away
We are saddened to announce that Beth A Hoffman, the long-serving Managing Editor of "The Freeman" magazine, and key component of the Foundation for Economic Education staff, has passed away at age 58. Beth was a wonderful person, always smiling and giving her all to support free markets. She was a brilliant editor, and never failed to make one feel at home when visiting FEE in Irvington, NY.
Our sympathies go out to her family and her friends. She was a true marvel, and her smile will be remembered along with her enthusiasm for freedom. Rest in peace, Beth. We'll miss you.

Recommended Speaker Saturday, March 10, 2007 - Dr. Anna Ebeling
On Saturday, March 10, Gardner Goldsmith will be traveling to the Foundation for Economic Education, in Irvington, NY, to see Dr. Anna Ebeling offer her thoughts on growing up in the USSR. Both frightening, sad, and uplifting, her true stories of the economic hardship, the political idiocy, and the murderous activities of the communist rulers in the USSR are unforgettable. If you would like to join Gard, e-mail him at ELGGRANDE@msn.com. If you miss the chance, you can link to www.fee.org and then hit their audio link. The audio recording of Dr. Ebeling's speech should be posted there in a few days.
