This hits exactly what we were mentioning on the program last night. In the final segment, I went over how none of these supposed "cuts" are cuts at all.

The Republicans USED to tell the truth about this, but now, in order to look "fiscally responsible" they, like the Dems, also claim that what are actually INCREASES in the overall seizure of tax money and the level of federal spending are "cuts". It's incredibly disingenuous. They simply lie in order to appeal to their various constituencies. The Repubs lie to look like they're fiscally conservative, and the Dems lie to make it look like the INCREASES are evil cuts to social programs, to paint the Republicans as bad, and to work for even HIGHER spending. Amazing, but consistent with years past. At least people with an agenda to increase the seizure of my neighbor's earnings and to enslave generations not yet born could be honest about what they are doing.
