Return of Fairness Doctrine Might See Regulation of Internet Content

Remember Gardner Goldsmith mentioning a recent FCC ruling that fined Comcast for cutting out certain items from a subscriber's website? The people at Comcast had found them objectionable, and took measures to protect their business. The FCC did not recognize the virtue of private contract, and intervened.

Well, the FCC Chair did not approve of that move, and in expressing his disapproval, he recently revealed that, as Gard has warned, the ruling could jeopardize all free speech on the net. Here is the article:
