As you will hear in another of our BRILLIANT Conspiracy audio files, Presidential candidate and former Senator John Edwards recently spoke in Berkely, CA, well-known as a location with MANY people hostile to his leftist POV. While there, he tried, as he has many times in the past, to tie the "plight" of union workers to the problem of low wages that he thinks government can solve through regulation and the redistribution of wealth.

Of course, his ideas don't work, and have been proven wrong-headed over and over. But he is catering to emotion, not logic or ethics.
