Microsoft Must Take Measures, Move Some Ops to Canada, Due to Expensive US Immigration Policy

According to the AP, Microsoft Corporation, based in Washington state, has been forced to move part of its operations to Canada, where the company can get freer access to high-tech labor. The key word there is "freer", for the reason the company must move is that the current US immigration policies are too restrictive, and do not allow Microsoft to hire the skilled laborers it needs, from anywhere in the world.

In a free nation, no government tells any private businessman whom he can and cannot hire. In a free nation, no politician tells consumers they must pay MORE for products, whether they choose to or not, because the politician prefers one kind of laborer over another. In a free country, people would be able to choose for themselves, and would not subsume their neighbors' preferences beneath their own.
