Guess what? It's started. In TN, the V.I.P.E.R program, which stands for Very Invasive Personal Exploration Reconnassance (a euphemism for invading your body and property) has begun doing random inspections of vehicles that pull into weigh stations and other commercial transport areas. This is another example of the wisdom that libertarians show when saying (for years) that it's a bad idea to let the gubment own and run the roads.... Nothin' like that 4th Amendment, huh?
