My first blog.
Wow. My own blog on the Liberty Conspiracy. I feel so special. :) I have a blog on the same site as the two whom I've learned so much from, The Bald is Beautiful Brothers, Gardner Goldsmith and Citizen X. Judging by the weather outside, snowing and hailing at 33 degrees here in El Paso, Texas, and now I have a blog...it would seem Hell truly hath frozen over.
I'd like to use my first blog post to ask a question that I originally brought up on Gard's podcast. Who are the real terrorists in our world today? Could it possibly be the people who are making international drug smugglers all over the world rich with their stupid, useless laws? Those that throws nonviolent poeple in prison for making decisions over what to do with their own bodies? Those who are interfereing in the free market? Those who enrage people of other nations to attack us, costing us 3,000 American lives and are stealing our money using the threats of force and violence to fund unconstitutional programs like the TSA to "protect" us from the problem they created?
What the 9/11 hijackers did was delporable, but violence begets violence. The next time people lay down their tax money in front of Uncle Sam, I hope they think about the regime and what they will do with it.
Personally, it makes me sick.

Jackie,
Your points are astute, and if one looks at the definition of "terrorize", we should truly recognize government, in the abstract, as the biggest, most effective terror tool people have invented. I mean, check this out: government can only operate by stealing from or imprisoning people. Behind every government action is a threat of physical, financial or legal violence. Occasionally, government operatives will act in one of these ways, making an example of some so that others will see the results of non-compliance. If terrorism is, as we often hear, the act of engaging in violence to frighten people into behaving in a certain way, then one could not find a more effective tool for this than government.
What's amazing is that people become used to it. Right now, US taxpayers work, on average, half the year to pay for all their levels of taxation, not to mention all the added costs when one considers regulations, and missed market opportunities caused by government restrictions. Then there are the even more unseen effects, such as government redirection of usable capital from proper market uses into uses free people would not choose. All of these show us that people put up with, get used to, an extremely high level of terrorism, just like people on slave plantations become docile and don't rebel once they see a few selected for so-called "justice" by their terrorist "master".
It's frightening to think about how willing people are to let it happen to them and their progeny.
