Intel Hit by European Union with Record $1.45 Billion Fine for "Anti-competitive" Activities

So, Intel gives rebates to consumers, saving them money. Intel is trying to give consumers a BETTER deal, and consumers are free to buy or not to buy. THIS, you see, is ANTI-competitive. Competition is ANTI-competitive, according to the state. And if you choose Intel? Well you couldn't control your own actions. You are a dolt, and Marx new better. You are a tool of capitalism, and your freedom of choice is a mirage. Sellers don't have to work to constantly cater to the consumer, nope. You're being used, and Intel is wicked. Now, $1.45 billion will be extracted from Intel, costing it and consumers more.

Yeah, Intel is the bad guy here. Seriously. No, really. Um...
