Yo Gabba Gabba
Have any of you watched this show? What a trip! DJ Lance is a freaky looking black man with an orange track suit and fuzzy orange hat. He's got himself some funky spectacles. He comes out with his boom-box, which he opens up, and takes out these japanese monster dolls/ a la Godzilla (or for you art/wrestling fans Kai-ju Big Battel).
He places the little dolls in their habitats (they call them "lands"). And then they come to life.
This show is best viewed on an audio visual system with a bass kicker. There is a LOT of dancing, which has encouraged my kids to get off the couch and boogie.
The subjects touched upon the show are really basic, like "What is a high-five," and "Brushing your teeth." But it doesn't seem as mindless as Dora the Explorer. It's also a lot more enjoyable for me than Barney.
Watching this show was the closest thing to using recreational drugs I've ever done.
I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.
Using recreational drugs is the closest thing to ...er... using recreational drugs that I have ever done lol
However, watching The Magic Roundabout came a close second.
