Torchwood comes to BBC1 with a 5 night special (yep 5 consecutive nights) & from the trailer it does look good if not somewhat of a rip off of The Village Of The Dammed.

I've heard that Russell T Davies is incorporating into the plot commentary on Zimbabwe, well if anybody deserves a good dose of satire its Robert Mugabe.

Starts tonight. Have big plans for a big batch of popcorn and family viewing.

Am a little bummed that the BBC America HD channel roll-out which is also happening today isn't hitting my local cable provider yet.

I need my Torchwood, Doctor Who specials and Top Gear in High Def!

Just watched parts 3, 4 & 5, back-to-back.

Holy crap.

Extra big hugs for the kids at bedtime tonight.  I'll be picking up a light hearted book, or playing video games for a while. Can't go straight off to bed with that story in my head.

Agh!  My Tivo picked up episodes 1-4, but missed episode 5.  Now I have to shell out two whole dollars on iTunes to see how it ended.  Loved episode 4, particularly with respect to the Prime Minister's deliberations with his cabinet.

Wow.  That was definitely worth two dollars.
