Topics for future podcasts
I thought I'd start a thread to share with El Grande (and the Cabal podcasters) what we would welcome as topics for future pods.
I would be interested in the particular topic of 'crime and punishment.'
It's the one thing that separates the small government libertarians from us market anarchists. However, whenever someone asks for alternatives to a justice system, I must admit to being a little hazy on the details... I have general ideas (ie: reputation/ exclusion) but would enjoy the perspectives of others on the topic.
If anyone could recommend some reading on this topic, I'd also be most grateful.
On the subject of Crime and Punishment, I came across this article. The of the article concerns voluntary systems of justice. This is just about the last place I can think of that one would expect voluntary system of justice. I won't ruin the suprise by revealing the source.

I'm... pleasantly surprised by the context of that link, FURB! Good find!
Here's something else that is quite prolific within Northern Ireland but -as the link shows - has broader 'appeal':

Good ol' wikipedia! This is a brilliant assessment of 'ADR' - 'Alternative Dispute Resolution.'
In my day job, I see this being suggested as good practice, ironically, by government within the private rented housing sector!
