*Beware- Bee in bonnett*

This morning, I stopped by my new employers office to gather some information that I'll need for my first day on Friday. While I was waiting to see my supervisor, I noticed this on the wall.  A license for a security alarm for a private business.

I watch the news and want to hurl my remote through the tv listening to the senators etc...say that they want to block the Bush tax cuts for "the rich". Those who make more than $250,000 a year...including small business owners who employ a large number of Americans. This sign got me thinking about the hell that the government puts small business owners through in order to just start their businesses. First of all, when you consider all the inflation they cause printing billions in worthless money, $250k isn't all that much. Also, stupid, rediculous taxes, permits and regulation to be worried about just to get their dreams off the ground. Then, on top of this, their property where they put this business...taxed. Everything used to run their business from White Out to chairs, tables and computers...taxed. Their employees and profits are also taxed. And then, the biggest blow, to simply protect your business....your property...you have to pay a fee and get a license to get a security system. How is it that anyone can think that these people don't need a tax break?

Now that I thnk about it, these people don't need *just* a tax break. They need a "get the government out of my business" break...!

I have a small business and my book keeper came to me a couple years ago with my tax form and it said I made like 120K.  I was like WTF!!?!!?!  I don't make Jack!

"well that's the way they do it, you have to list this business income on your personal tax form"

Last week she called and said I have to write a fat check to the IRS this year, so get rid of any extra business cash before the end of the month if I want to minimize my losses to the gubment.  I don't need to buy stuff I don't need, I need money in reserve in case something really bad happens!!!! (like medical problems or economic collapse)

The whole thing is so absurd.

Yea, it's rediculous. I can't help but think the current state of our economy is what eventually happens to a Socialist society. You can *not* support everyone on the back of the productive. There are SO many people who recieve some sort of wealth redistrubution but SO many people who don't pay any taxes at all. So, they raise the taxes to unrealistic heights on those who are making money. How long do they think one group can support everyone? Do none of these socialists understand that the state of the economy and thousands of jobs are sitting in wait right to now to see what the tax situation is going to be? The productive people can't adfford to be sustaining everyone. I hope peole wise up before what was once the most productive country in the world is taxed into irrelivence.

At one time when I was really scraping to get by I used to get these letters from the IRS saying I might qualify for the earned income tax credit.  I think that's actually the checks the government cuts you when you pay no income taxes and have not applied for any assistance.  I always threw the letter away so I'm not sure if I could have gotten a check or not.

Let's propose the addition of the Non-aggression principle as a constitutional amendment.  I wonder how the supreme court would interpret it???
