It's not clear why, but they were apparently pulled over yesterday in Jones County, Mississippi. Passenger Adam Mueller attempted to videotape the traffic stop, and was arrested for doing so. It isn't clear what happened next, but Talley and Eyre were also eventually arrested, Eyre for possession of a beer in a dry county, and Talley for disorderly conduct, disobeying, and resisting arrest.

They're due to be arraigned tomorrow.

Wow! Yeah, we'd HATE to actually see what the government employees (ie the people people being paid whether we like it or not) are actually doing.

Man.

I can't believe there are still "dry counties" in the US.

Lookout! A man's got an open container in a MOTORHOME! Better arrest Pete! He's a danger to the county!

It's been a while since I was in Jones county, but in all the other dry counties I've known (which are more than I care to count), mere possession of alcohol (by an adult) is not a crime.  Stores can't sell beer, but you can certainly run across the county line and bring some home for your own consumption.  Are there are any Conspirators from Hattiesburg who can shed some light on this?
