Here's the part that puzzles me. Each of these so called 'Bailout Bills' goes around the general budget, right? So Obama can pat himself on the back for reducing the deficit by 500bil a year, but he can ram through these Trillion Dollar emergency bills every couple of months? I mean, no one around me here at the University of Rochester seems to understand this.

It's like a fat chick saying, "this doughnut doesn't count because it's my favorite color."

Rediculous.

(Please excuss my tangent, started out on the topic, then liked where I ended up)

It's unbelievable, we just got an entire "stimulus" plan that comprised mostly of a @#%& ton of money that was supposed to "stimulate" the economy. Yet somehow, all we ended up with was a @#%& ton of money going into a bunch of Democratic (secretly republican) promises from several years ago that were big back when the world "wasn't" falling apart. It's amazing how this former wish list of promises is now the perfect formula for a quick economic recovery.  Then we're spoon fed, utmost ergency, so that we can't wait a couple of weeks to really debate anything.  Yet huge parts of the bill don't even actually happen for several years.  Cough, cough election seasons....

Just goes to show that the world runs on nothing but debt and promises, smoke and mirrors.  Because in small does it actually works.

Short story.. the other day I was talking about a house that my girlfriend and I are looking at with my fellow co-workers.  A bunch of Vermont glass blowers that I do actually love, even  though after 6 1/2 years of working together in a small room still can't understand that I'm not a Republican.  Anyhow, after a brief discussion of the new $8,000 dollar tax write off for buying a house, my boss stated that "atleast I had to admit that it was now because of Obama and the Democrat's that we were now able to even buy a house"..... It apparently escaped them that it may have had more to do with the house dropping $40,000 dollars since this summer........Unfortunatly if the "stimulas" works for even a short time I may never get to scream about the possably thousands more I could have saved!
