Listening to today's pod, I am moved to to use some of my remaining economic liberty to help mothyspace's friend with the ear problem.
Mothyspace, if you have a paypal account, or chip-in set up. I will send you 5 Federal Reserve Accounting Units Denominated (US$). I know it is not much, but if a certain percentage of the multude in the cabal and the other conspirators were to donate a small sum, it would be a little something that could help out, even if it doesn't cover the cost of the procedure, it might cover some essential items during your friends time of convalescence.

My mate got a letter from the hospital the other day saying it could be another 12months b4 he gets seen!
It's incredible, he's thinking about borrowing a camera from another friend and doing a conservative version "michael moore" style
documentary about the socialists that are running the country here in Australia. It's astonishing how anti-competitive our health system is.
Many have said that Australia is headed in the same direction as America with Healthcare in many ways.
That cannot be a positive signal considering the amount of Government interference you guys have seen.
Tell all ya friends, freedom from Government health care should have been my title but is nonetheless appropriate.

I tried to extend the old link but it failed so I setup a Part II link that expires in September.
Update:
It's looking like my friend will be seen by September!!!!!!So much for responsive healthcare.
