10. Cracker, "Low"

11111111111111. The Psychedelic Furs, "It Goes On"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Again, Richard Butler nails the art of double meaning in lyrics. Listen for the epic bridge in the center of the song, as the bass and drums work off each other, and then they build elements, amping it up as each new instrument is brought in, first one guitar, then another, then the sax, and the sax hits an apex, and they add an effect, a flange-like effect as the sax is also sped up, rising, rising, and exploding into the last verses... "All this goes on all the time so I don't go down there." Politics? Could be...)

12. The Short Fuses, "Powerlord" (No female-led band has rocked this hard.)

13. Black Flag, Rollins, and Chuck D, "RISE ABOVE"! A credo. If you want it.

14. Three from the Robots, our pals from Sweden, live from Gearfest in Stockholm!! http://www.therobots.1go.dk/recordings/index.php

- "Slam Tilt"

- "Bahamas"

- "Papa (Can You Teach Me to Fish?) ;-)

Be Seeing You!

Awesome!

Have a long run tomorrow, and this will have me happily jumping tree roots and rocks for the first half.

Update:

It was a great soundtrack for the run, and the sound quality just keeps getting better. Thank you Gard!

Yes, I loved it! Cracking mix, Mr Goldsmith! Was walking the dog to it, yesterday, on the beach.

Really good to hear Cracker again - I downloaded a few of ther tunes after listening to the pod.

What was the name of the band with the female vocalist? Kind punky - featured the sweet sound of a beer can being rolled up.
