Summer of 2011, there’s been a royal wedding, economic woes & now rioting in the inner cities.

Other then The Specials not being at number one with a critique of how things were back in 1981, the major difference between things in 1981 & 2011 is that the rioting happening isn’t now just occurring in the inner cities.

Believe me the borough of Ealing, is a very middle class area of London, pretty far removed from inner city deprivation & yet last night experienced some of the worse of the violence.

These riots do not surprise me in the least, this kind of thing happens under Tory government. As Nick Clegg said himself last year prior to the general election, if the Tories win the general election there’d be riots & there have been, the irony is of course that Clegg’s party is now helping to support this Tory government.

As I say these riots don’t surprise me, it happened in 1981 & 1985, under the last Tory government, but this time round what is surprising is the amount rioting there is & where the rioting happens to be occurring. Back in the in 1980s the riots that occurred were concentrated in inner city areas such as Brixton, Tottenham & Toxteth in Liverpool; this time the rioting might have begun in Tottenham but the rioting going on doesn’t seem to be confined to the inner cities.

The violence began in Tottenham as a response to a police shooting but that was only the spark for the masses express their outrage at the austerity policies of this government & so that outrage has spread.

Three nights of violence which has spread from London to other cities in Britain, David Cameron has cut short his holiday, parliament has been recalled, there’s talk of deploying the army on the streets & social networking sites are being blamed fot enflaming the situation.

What nobody seems to be asking is why are these riots will be happening?

If one throws a stone, the action constitutes a crime.
If one thousand stones are thrown, it becomes a political action.
If you burn a car, the action constitutes a crime.
If you burn hundreds of cars, it becomes a political action.
Protest is when I say that something does not sit well with me.
Opposition is when I do something to make sure that what I do not like does not happen again. - Ulrike Marie Meinhof, Red Army Faction 1968

we are asking all the time, our schools and universitys are full of people who are asking for years. all the time there is an excuse: racism, not enought money make us apply for cashadvance, not open-enought-communitys, brutal police blablabla... all the time the european natives are excusing, give money, give more tolerance, going on distance to their culture. We are asking all the way, analyzing..
