I only think that because you are independently minded and go on your convictions (something you don't see in modern political discourse on either side see 'groupthink') (I admire that btw even when I disagree).
I get a distinct Liberty vibe from your commentary, that indicates that your approach may go 'against the grain' (note: not a g-man reference heh)
Will say this much, you're a very interesting character and I enjoy listening to your commentary.
Its true to say I do have strong convictions but there have been libertarians who have considered my convictions to be inconsistent. In other words I don’t always take the typical pro liberty stance trotted out by libertarians on every issue rather I look at every issue individually & weigh up what might be the best approach.
What’s probably been misleading for some is that the stuff I’ve said on the podcast usually revolves around ‘social’ issues rather then ‘economic’ issues. I do fundamentally believe in free speech but at the same time I also support there being a welfare state.
I certainly disagreed with the last Labour governments approach on foreign policy & internal security, but Labour did strife to give various minorities equality & did try to aid the most vulnerable in society.
Ironically people will say that Labour didn’t do enough for the most vulnerable in society only to realise how much Labour did when the coalition government implement cutbacks.

I'd add that though there are geolibertarians in the US Democrat Party there are none in the Labour party here
Somebody has to the first lol
Just be true to yourself, dude. If you feel you've done the right thing, that's all that matters.
