Came across this article published on a socialist blog that seems mot be so keen on gun control, yes you heard right socialists who aren't keen on gun control.

I think its important to remember that its not only libertarians or conservatives who believe individuals have the right to bear arms.

Good point, Ziggy.

 

The only trouble is that most socialists appear to operate according to the dictum that in order to be safe one mout rely on the coercive entity called government, and that private property can justifiably be taken from people by government according to majority whim, and so when you mix the two, you get a very dangerous combination.

I personally love firearms and hope everyone that wants one for ethical reasons (ie not using them in armed robbery) can have one.  I wish it was easier to have belt fed weapons personally.
