I've heard a couple of times on FTL that the Liberty Conspiracy has more downloads than FTL does.

I have a few ideas to improve upon that even:

Put Liberty Conspiracy in the itunes directory.   You're not there.  I've search many ways.  Lots of people search "liberty" in itunes to find things to listen to. They're not finding Gardner in there.

Also, Use evry episode to ask for votes on podcast alley.  You can totally toast FTL...not that you'd TRY to do that, but if you're in the top 10, you'll get more growth.  It works for everyone on the top ten....which is why I think the same people stay at the top ten.

I've called in to FTL before and told them that "Gard is a class act" in terms of interacting with people that you disagree with and coming off with flying colors.  Ian and Mark have improved since that time, but I think that's one reason thatyour internet listenership is higher: You respect people that you disagree with.

Keep doing that andutilize itenes and podcast alley and you'll see more listeners and revenue I'd wager :)

I found FreeTalkLive.com on ITunes about 2.5 years ago, and listened to it on a whim and become hooked.  Through FTL I became acquinted with Gardner and his "Against The Grain" radio show.  Then I followed Gard to become a cabal member.

I would get a ITunes listing; and also would buy banners on FTL, Mises.org, and LewRockwell.com.  I would also buy radio spots on GCN which is the syndicate that runs FreeTalkLive.com so that LibertyConspiracy.com gets more word of mouth via the airwaves.

I am repeating some of the prior posted comments, but wanted to weigh in because I am seeing the LibertyConspiracy as one of the mutually supporting bastions of Liberty, as opposed to being a competition to beat other existing entities because the either have different audiences, or go into different levels of depth on a particular subject.  I loved "Against The Grain" and FTL to get immediate news topics addressed in succession, with many caller viewpoints, where with Gard's podasts I get in depth knowledge.

If we revisit this subject over and over we will continue to come up with more and more ideas, and probably some really cool guerilla marketing :)

There are a lot of over the highway truckers that are consumers of audio books.  Would it work to package a Liberty Conspiracy lecture/podcast series onto CD Rom, where they could be checked out at truck stops?  public libraries? Cracker Barrel?

Are there any truckers in the Cabal that would allow Liberty Conspiracy graphics to be displayed on the trailer doors, or maybe even on the sides of their trailer?  Nothing like a big rolling billboard going all over the country...

I don't know how to do this, but I know that it is possible to create what is termed "vectored graphics" which can be printed in any size, and could be done on billboards, have your car wrapped in the a graphic, or a 53' trailer.

How about stamping FRNs with Liberty Conspiracy and related URLs?  Pass them out at strip clubs :)

I would totally use a LC banner in all the message boards I visit, were one available. I would also use LC wallpaper, at work, were it available.

Perhaps the more artisitc amongst us could rustle up some wallpaper/ banners?

I hope that Gard produces an podcast re: Star Trek article.  Also, I'd like to see search engine optimization done to include star trek in the key words associated with the site, if even just for the first week of the movies release.  Just a couple of ideas I had.  This ties in to the discussion from the book forum re: Live Free or Die http://www.libertyconspiracy.com/forum/live_free_or_die_essays_liberty#c...

You can also look to go on other similiar type podcasts and also allow those hosts to come on your show.  They don't have to be exactly your beliefs, but similiar beliefs would work.  Maybe going on a show like Dan Carlin's Common Sense (or similiar) could expand your audience.  I don't listen to many podcasts so your regulars can give you a few suggestions.

JC!

First of all, you share the same initials as the awesome bassist for Danko Jones, so you know you gotta be cool! Second -- thanks for starting this thread! I honestly can tell you that I've been so busy producing the audios and researching the issues, that I've been too swamped to be able to promote as much as I would like. Your ideas are great! I just wish I could get off the treadmill of production and research to allow me the time to look into it all! I really know nothing of itunes, but your suggestion is terrific. I'll have to see if I can figure out how to list it. And Podcast alley? Again, my knowledge is miniscule. I don't even know if we're on it!

I read down the thread, into the fliers at strip clubs idea, and yeah, that's cool, too!

I know someone has been promoting us in Boston area Starbucks because I got an e-mail about someone finding a flier in one. Whoever is doing that, keep it up, and feel free to do it, anyone!!!

Gotta fly!
