Gard!  I have heard you speak of Danko and how you are a fan, I'm going to have to get their stuff and give'm a listen.  As I had to do w/ Black Flag, and the Damned.  Since I have always been a Fugazi fan I had to realize were those roots came from, and Rolins has always had some deep lyrics.  As far as the Damned, I dig it, but I might need to jam them a bit more to really fall in love.  I've heard covers of The Damned song The Blackout, by one of my former favorite bands Alkaline Trio.  So I when I heard that I could understand how impressionable they have been.  Unfortunatly I think I have been spoiled by the newer, faster, raw dog shit.  Therefore leaving me with a bland taste in my ears...  Don't get me wrong though, they are still high on my personal charts though = D

I just listened to the entire (at least I think it's the entire) collection of Danko Jones.  I heard hints of GVSB in Code Of The Road from the new Never Too Loud, sweet jam btw.  Home To Hell from We Sweat Blood seemed to have some some ACDC'ishness to it I think as well.  I am starting to dig these guys Gard, thanks for the heads up!  They remind me of my buddies band out in north west Indiana called "The Wanderers" http://www.myspace.com/thewanderers  My bud Brenden has a ponpador, and I'm jelous, with my receding hairline and all.  

I got the chills though after listening to We Sweat Blood, because just earlier when I was leaving work I was talking to my friend/co worker about sweating blood...  I was talking to him about all the bullshit vacination shit, and he mentioned he was told to take some shit that said it caused bleeding a while ago.  I was like "what?", so you sweat blood?  This reminds me of the mechanic dude from RepoMan when he talked about "cosmic consciencness"  fucking amazing shit man!  Cosmic Consciencness!!
