Glenn,

I don't know if this is something you want to do, but you can count on me for a campaign contribution if you choose to throw your hat into the ring.

I hope he runs, but I also hope he doesn't. It's tough. He has a lot of good he can do, yet he would sacrifice so much professionally and personally. It's tough to assess it all.

Glenn is one of the best guys I know.

Great post!

I know what you mean.  I did my little stint as an LP candidate oh so long ago, and I can only imagine the toll that a bid for a US Senate seat would take.  On the one hand, it would be nice to have someone in DC who had both a sound knowledge of economics and a philosophical anchor to core libertarian principles.  On the other hand, I'd hate to think about what he'd have to go through personally to get there.

Whatever his decision, he's got my respect.

If Glenn were to run for President I predict he would have a solid lock on the South. There are not too many politicians who I have given money to over the years, but a Glenn Jacobs on the ticket would guarantee a contribution from me. Just think of what the debates would be like. Real issues and real ideas to address them.

Ron Paul couldn't close the sale, perhaps Glenn could make that connection with folks that Dr. Paul failed to do.
