Recently Australia's commerical tv stations went to digital and we've picked up a few extra commerical channels that re-transmit stuff if you miss it.

Sat down and watched a thing called Fringe today!

Was totally fricking awesome! JJ Abrams production, with a mix of horror and sci-fi. I have to say this is one of the better shows in the genre I have seen for a while.

Blew me away how they were able to mix drama,suspense and all the sci-fi elements in there. Unlike anything I have ever seen on TV!

Am prolly gonna rant some more about this later. Soooo checking for dvds!

I think I saw this, with my wife the other night.  I saw a show, and what drew me to it was the name of the episode, "Of Human Action" which reminded me of von Mises' great treatise.  Pretty cool show, had a kid taking a drug that amplified brainwaves w/ disastrous consequences.

I'm currently in Canberra ACT, trying to unlock my hotel landline so I can call into the hotline, so far no luck GRRRR!

Dude, if you can, try using skype from a computer to call.  I hear the rates are cheap for international calling.  I'll start a thread in another part of the forum asking for more information about this.  Can't wait to hear your comments.

Fringe is an awesome show mixing some of the fantastical X-files plots with an ongoing subplot involving multiple dimensions. Add to this the engaging characters, particularly the Bishops, and you have a winning combo. I don't miss it.

check ur email furb, i recorded 2 wav/mp3's with an update on the ETS-Debate down here, change of leadership and my thoughts on fringe. My recorder device seemed better, because the output file was clearer. If that can be integrated thatd be awesome!
