It cracks me up when you get these guys who finally come to the realization that the war on drugs is a failure and is destroying far more lives than it is saving, yet they still want to "regulate" drugs.  That may be telling you that what's really going on is somebody has decided that the property to be taken through taxing drugs, will be more beneficial to their ends than the facade of posing as a crusader for the protection of a clean and orderly society.  Why let the trafficers rake in all the jack?  That's no fun.

If drug legalization proceeds any time soon, it just may be because governments are out of cheese to hand out in purchase of the masses.
