Fastest drummer?!
Here is another fantastic song, I maybe mistaken but I think this band may have the fastest drummer in the biz...? Anywho here is a link to Pennywise with a song called My Own Country, album Straight Ahead. Enjoy

or does Danny Carey wreck havoc on the skins?! eesh~

Danny Carey is a freaking ninja!
46 and 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvKpii7Qi8Q
46 and two just aheasd of me
Carey's got more style than speed like Blake Richardson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHVDFNKNQBk
Speed doesn't impress me much, but I could pick a few fast ones
As far as speed for feet All That Remains has had a lot of good drummers
I like Arch Enemy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QumA1nvlbpk
I swear by my life and my love of it that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.
The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.
Blake Richardson is pretty good, and I liked the solo from Arch Enemy as well. As far as style goes check out this little diddy w/ Tim "Herb" Alexander, the drummer for Primus. Not to knock "Brain" who also has slapped the skins for Primus, but Mr Tim here is an adonis of men. I think Primus is one of the most talented bands I've ever heard/seen, but that's just me = D

This guy does a really good job covering The Heckler from Primus - It's just a matter of opinion!

I hadn't heard the New Bomb Turks until El G played them, and their first drummer, don't know his name, is INSANE!
I really like Matt Cameron's style of drumming when he was in Soundgarden. He's still great in Pearl Jam. He'res markojett doing his best Matt Cameron impression on Outshined. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HectVvdGR44
Ticks and Leeches - Danny Carey... not my favorite song, but it's fast. I'm more fond of Danny's work in Lateralus.
There is a guy that works where I do that is amazingly fast, accurate, and innovative on the drums.
They started this contest at work this week to see who could "walk" the most, measured by pedometer. I didn't know about this little contest (as I am only in a temporary position). I went over to tell him how Kurt Hoffman (a Keene freedom activist) had just been released on $1,000 bond (arrested for driving with a dog in his lap).
On my way over to tell him what was happening, I hear this noise, and it sounds like a helocopter is flying over the building. I looked at the dude, and it is his feet are tapping on the carpet that is making the helocopter sound. He's got the double bass kick drum thing DOWN. Dude is amazing! He was just doing that, while he's doing his work, typing away like nothing is going on. All to manipulte his pedometer which was attached to his sock.
I had been over to his house, and he played his drums for us for a while. Dude is astounding on drums!
I had recently learned of polyrhythmic and about this dude Tomas Haake who plays the drums for the band Meshuggah. Polyrhythmic is crazy cause it's multiple rythms at the same time. I can barely fart and drink beer at the same time, so naturally I found this to be quite astonishing (buuurp!). Meshuggah has opened for Tool, and Haake has been in a few Tool performances as well. -->
