Ex-Rutger's student found guilty.
So browsing through some new websites today, and I saw that the the ex-student that was linked to his roommate commiting suicide was found guilty and could be sentenced for up to 10 years in prision and deportation.
The article is found here http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/16/justice/new-jersey-rutgers-trial/index.html?hpt=hp_t1
I found it distrubing that because this student was caught in sexual activity that his punishment is likely to be more severe. Say if instead of the other student being gay, he played an embarrassing game like Hello Kitty Adventures. Say that he was so embarrassed and ashamed that they had videos of him playing this game that it drove him to sucide. Would the guy doing the watching face the same punishment? It seems to parallel hate crime legislation. He did get found not guilty of intimidation bias (honestly this charge is total BS) however.
Also there was another person who watched the webcam videos with the guy who was found guilty. And that person got a plea deal, which many of us view as unjust, for ratting out her friend.
Of course the guy made a bad decision and invaded the guy's privacy by recording him, but 10 years in prision? Is this really the appropiate action?
Women and gays have finally teamed up to take the world over from the war mongering straight men, just look what 25 yrs have done, 20 women us senators, women taking over corporate America, women buying sperm and choosing not to have a husband by the droves. O mighty Isis, and wonder women is finally here. Next, straight men will just live in giant test tubes hooked to liquid food. Coming to a town near you. Whats coming next? Segregation of gays and straights. No more problems, no more hate laws, just separate lives. custom paperwritings.com - I usually buy essays from that site, they deliver non plagiarized papers all the time.
