Since they've banned by gooberment edict, all handguns in the UK, what do they have left for some pompous schmuck of a foul politico to stand up, puff out his chest, and rail against?

Bad thoughts? More cutlery? Lawn gnomes? Private schools?

What about bow and arrows? Since Robin Hood is in theaters it'd be interesting to see people going after tax collectors with an English long bow. 

There was radio phone in this morning on the shootings & people were phoning in saying that isn’t it time that all serving police officers were armed.

What you ain’t going to hear in the media is my opinion that all citizens should be able to defend themselves adequately particularly when somebody goes postal.

Twelve people were shot dead yesterday in a 3 hour killing spree & nobody is saying that if one of those individuals had been armed there might not be as many dead people today.

Rather asking this people are asking why it took the police so long to respond & that Britain needs even tougher gun laws.

Incidentally the individual who perpetrated this crime held a gun licence & if you do hold a ggun licence & own guns in this country the authorities are meant to regular checks on whether somebody is still fit to hold a licence.

As I say libertarians will be considered kooks for the typical libertarian response to this incident
