I don't agree with almost anything that has come out of Congress, but I absolutely condemn this violence.

Giffords and her family are in my prayers and I hope she will come out of this okay.

I just read it and they may want to check their grammar as well.

I'm also disappointed that all we hear about is what's happened to the congressperson and federal judge. There was also a 9 year old girl that was killed.

That's horrible.  Tragic for those involved and will also send out ripple effects that will touch everybody.

I don't watch T.V. but I can already imagine all kinds of expert statements and speculation about "what this says about society", "what this says about gun rights", "what this says about security", bla bla bla.  What it says is somebody had a screw loose.

OBviously we must condemn this act. Violence especially done this way is counter productive therefore truly insane. Freedom lovers use guns only to protect. Where were thre freedom lovers ready to protect this women? Our way is non violent...

Enjoying your emphasis on the constitution. 'The light shines in the darkness and the darkness can not overcome IT'!! JOHN 1:5 In the voluntaryist liberty we have won already; however, we must be patient and continue to fight! You and LRN are fighting. May we all take on the full armorment of the mind revolution so we make our victory actual. We are patient because we are the shining light in these times of dartkness.Check out the greek the darkness can not overcome or grasp the light. May we all wake up from history and realize that there are more of 'us' than them. We are the first disenchanted. We have woken up and we wait and must prepare the way for other freedom lovers. We are blessed to be first. Byt he way the Bible is a LIBERTARIAN BOOK that is why it was co-opted. We do not have to be believers tounderstand the bibles value.

I agree. 100%.

And I'm calling out everyone in the Liberty Movement, espicially those who have the public ear such as Gardner, Earnest Hancock, Free Talk Live etc....to talk about this horrible tragedy on their shows. Why? Because I've been monitoring the media and I've heard people put this guy into the same cateogory as "those anarcists who throw bombs". We need to speak up and say the whole reason we oppose the government is because it's violence we love peace. We condemn this without doubt.

Free Talk Live has a special show on one Sunday a month called "She Talk Live" where my two friends Stephanie and Carla talk about liberty from a female POV. This shooting is what I asked them to talk about so someone can stand up on the liberty movements flaghip show and say we do not approve of this violence and this guy was never part of the movement. As soon as I heard this guy was critical of the government I knew it would reflect badly on us so we need to nip it in the bud quickly.

It appears Ayn Rand & the radical right are being blamed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxRbaKqeOaI&feature=player_embedded

The only person who's to blame is the guy who pulled the trigger & even if he hadn't had access to a gun he could of killed a mass of people in some other manner.
