I work in an office full of Architects as there IT Manager.  The Majority of them are Obama fans and this being inauguration day I can barely work.  There all so excited for the CHANGE that will be coming.  Why are people so easily fooled by all of this!!!  I don't know whether to CRY or SCREAM!!!  Maybe I should just do both.

Somebody brought in bagels even and is calling them Freedom Bagels.............Arrrggg......Freedom from What?  T'here all pissed at me because I won't eat any now.......but I was very polite about it.  I think that even pisses them off more........

It's been surreal.  So far the best description of the inauguration hysteria I've seen comes from here:  http://www.coyoteblog.com/coyote_blog/2009/01/inauguration-day-party-poo...

"For a libertarian like myself, its like watching people line up at 3am to be the first to be in the store when McDonald’s switches its fountain drinks from Coke to Pepsi."

I was a a public hearing in the Transportation committee of the NH House yesterday. The chair of the committee made a big to-do about welcoming Representative Somethingorother back to NH from Washington DC. Apparently Rep. Somethingorother was at the inaugural.

I was tempted to ask how Obama managed to feed everyone with just the one loaf of bread.

My wife keeps on trying to talk to me about this.  I told her I'm boycotting it, and I don't want to hear anything about it (to keep my bloodpressure in check).  But I did ask her if she thought it (the inaugural address) was good or bad.  She said 1/3 was good, the remaining 2/3 was really bad.

I felt the same way on inauguration day, but I think I've had my mind changed:
