Number Six recently issued a Mass Mailer to all Conspirators, letting them know the latest on two important matters of concern.

The following is the text of the letter, providing up to date information from the NH capital:

Number 85 reports today that, following the Senate vote to "study" HB 1582 (which would rebuff the federal government over the anti-constitutional requirements of REAL ID), supporters of the bill in the House attached the original provisions of HB 1582 to their version of SB399. SB 399, mentioned earlier here at the Conspiracy, would give the executive branch, and the Commisssioner of Health and Human Services, power to commandeer medicines, prevent gatherings of private citizens, and biologically cleanse private buildings during times of "emergency".

Such a bill is a great threat to individual liberty.

Since many Senators favored the provisions of 399, the House action placed them in the position of having to decline a bill they liked if they wanted to stop HB 1582. This they did, killing the House version of 399/1582 and then placing the provisions of 399 in ANOTHER bill, HB 1204 (the "HIV Awareness Bill"). But this new version of HB 1204/399 was nixed by the House members, leaving the Senate with only one option in order to see their precious 399 have a chance of survival.

As things stand, for the Senate to revive any of the statist provisions of SB 399, they will have to turn back to the version the House has created, the bill that has the original provisions of HB 1582 included.

According to Number 85, the action was swift, and 1582 still has a chance of survival. No doubt this will bother Judd Gregg and Jeb Bradley no end.
