FCC Chair Proposes Federal Regulation of Broadcast CONTENT

Is anyone surprised? These statist hypocrites come from the generation that always told us that free speech was "essential", but, as expected, they only like "free speech" shen it advances their favorite kind of statism. If debate and discussion challenge them, they will quickly try to stifle the voices, stop dissent.

Welcome to the world of "change" -- As the Talking Heads said, "Same as it ever was..."

By the way, what was that silly thing the First Amendment said? "Congress shall make no law..." abridging the freedom of speech or of the press or of free assembly? Well in this case the jerks in DC can claim "Oh, but it's not CONGRESS making a law, it's the FCC creating a REGULATION..."

Which, of course, is even more unconstitutional, since, even if this WERE a Constitutionally granted power for Congress (which it isn't) the Constitution strictly FORBIDS Congress from ceding its Constituional powers to any other body. Is it too much to ask that these politicians and their bureaucratic sycophants actually answer people when we cite facts like this? Is it too much to ask to be left alone?

We'll address this and the issue of so-called "Net Neutrality" in our next audio show! Be Seeing You!
