10-18 SCHIP, Louis Freeh, Classical Ed

On “Against the Grain” for Thursday, 10-18, Gardner Goldsmith welcomed Prof. Richard Gamble, whose new book, “The Great Tradition”, reviews centuries of thought from some of the world’s great philosophers on the subject of a classical education. Look at www.libertyconspiracy.com for the link.

Gard also spoke to former FBI Director Louis Freeh, who seemed woefully unprepared for strong questions on Constitutional law and the Bush Administration. Gard was nice, but knew he could let Freeh’s bad answers stand for themselves. Check out Gard’s comments after he completed the interview, and see how G-Man could have hit Freeh even harder on the subject of habeas corpus for Enemy Combatants (some of whom have been Americans, contrary to what Freeh claimed). That and lots more, from El G Grande!

I have missed the show, but there is no question that it was worth watching. - Gary McClure
