A little while back on one of the podcasts, Gard was talking to (I'm pretty sure it was) Glenn Jacobs and the topic of libertarian nomenclature came up, acknowleding some of the disadvantages of the terminology we are currently using. In the process, seemingly spontaneously, Gard even coined the phrase "voluntary governance." This was hilarious to me, because at that very time -- not the actual moment -- I was writing a piece making just that argument and promoting just that phrase as an alternative.
Well, one thing after another got in the way, but I've finally gotten it published on The Libertarian Standard. So, anyone who had their thoughts stirred by that discussion and might want to ponder the matter further is encouraged to have a look at the article. The link follows:
