Its apparent that the BBC is pandering to the shithead Nanny Statist mentality that if you don't exist in layers of state regulated bubble-wrap your running the risk of serious injury & possible death.

There is risk in all that we do in life; people die from putting socks on, people die from going for a shit including Elvis, people die from tripping over paving stones, people die because shit happens.
Yes the bottom line that nobody wants to ever hear, that how unfortunate it might be people die because people do, people die because shit happens & shit will always happen because shit always has happened. No matter how many layers of bubble-wrap the shithead nanny statists might want to wrap individuals in....shit will happen.
There are some in authority who seem to think that we want to live to 150 by eating broccoli shakes morning, noon & night, by running 10 miles a day & by excepting some new age therapy govern us. Err no I don't want to live to 150 & live a really boring life, I much rather not live to 50 so long as my life is packed full of sex, drugs & rock & roll.
Mentioning that the shithead nanny statists would like us all to run fucking half marathons reminds me that I think it was about 5 years back 6 people died whilst running the Great North Run. Oh then of course there was that American guy Jim Fix back in the 80s who did, a running book, a running video, did a lot of running & died of a fucking great heart attack whilst running. Yeah maybe the shithead nanny statists should think of banning marathons & in fact running al together I mean people choosing freely to run can be a fucking killer.
Maybe one day more people will come to realise that nanny statists use all those fear of taking risk encase of injury or death as means of control. All this bullshit that nanny statists whip up that if you do this or if you that you might get hurt, is just a means of controlling people as much as any despot might want to control people.
Sadly for the time being people are fooled by the apparent benevolence that shithead nanny statists use as a front, not realising that shit happens & has always happened & will always happen, because people have bare hands, people are stupid, people are people & people are fallible.
