Speaking as somebody who has long been a supporter & believer in constitutional government obviously I'd love it to work in reality.

I sincerely would love constitutionally restrained government to work in reality but one just has to look at Afghanistan to realise that constitutional government is but a sham.

You just have to look at Afghanistan to see that the notion of freedom & democracy is a sham!

Last week there were elections in Afghanistan but did the people of Afghanistan truly get to vote for the candidates they wanted to? No they got a choice between candidates that had been approved by NATO governments & their corporate masters. Basically to say there's democracy in Afghanistan is utter bullshit, the Afghan people got the choice which was imposed not the choice they might want.

Under the constitution implanted since the NATO invasion women are guaranteed equal rights & so women should have equal rights. However in the run up to the recent elections President   Karzai signed a bill into law allowing a husband to starve his wife if she refuses to have sex has been published. Yes women in Afghanistan have the equal right, yeah as in the equal right to be treated like shit so it appears. Yeah Afghan women have freedom the freedom of choice to be raped or starved. However anybody conceives freedom & rights I don't they can possibly say that that with the law I write about being enacted that the women in Afghanistan are free & equal, in fact too say they are is a fucking lie.

Its because of these observations that I've made of Afghanistan that I question whether constitutional government can really be a working reality. I'm not saying that looking at Afghanistan is turning me into a rabid anarchist because constitutional government & the ideals of constitutional-republicanism is evidently not working there, but I'm sure many an anarchist would say to me you in fact just have to look towards the US to see that constitutionally restrained government ain't working & I have to a\dmit they have a point.
